The TCS6352 is a 3A Li-lon battery charger. It utilizesa 500 KHz synchronous buck converter topology toreduce power dissipation during charging. Lowpower dissipation,an internal MOSFET allow aphysically small charger that can be embedded in awide range of handheld applications. The TCS6352includes complete charge termination circuitry,automatic recharge and a +1% 4.2V float voltage.Battery charge current,charge timeout andend-of-charge indication parameters are set withexternal components.Additional features includeshorted cell detection;temperature qualifiedcharging and overvoltage protection. The TCS6352 isavailable in a ESOP8 and DFN10 package.
